Overview
StakeGuard Inc. (“StakeGuard,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information about you when you visit our website and join our waitlist. The consumer product — bank account connection, budget calculation, and deposit tracking — is not yet live. We will update this policy before launch to cover that data in full.
Information We Collect
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. We use this solely to notify you when the StakeGuard service launches in your state and to send product updates.
We collect standard web analytics information including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring URLs. This helps us understand how our site is used and improve it.
Our consumer service will connect to your bank account via a read-only link (Plaid) to calculate an income-based betting budget. We will update this Privacy Policy before that launch to describe in detail how bank data is collected, processed, and stored.
How We Use Your Information

Data Retention
We retain your email address until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Web analytics data is retained for up to 24 months. When you request deletion, we will remove your information from our active systems within 30 days.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information). Children
StakeGuard is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
